Anyone who has ever tried using a digital camera out in the bright sunlight knows what they need - they need a shade because the glare washed out the view on the camera's LCD.
Some 3rd party shades pop up to form a little three sided canopy over the LCD to diminish glare. Other are four sided shade. The mounting methods are either gluing a velcro onto the camera or using a strap around the camera.

I made my own way to tackle the issue. I turn the LCD monitor into a magnified LCD view finder. The mounting is rigid yet no glue is to be applied to the camera.
Material list
| Item | Description | Qty. |
| 1 | Foldable mini tripod (see the picture below). | 1 |
| 2 | +4 reading glasses | 1 pair |
| 3 | Empty plastic bottle (see the picture below). The size meets your LCD size and the focal length of the glasses. | 1 |
| 4 | Black paper card | 8" x 3" |
| 5 | Self-adhesive velcro | 6" |
| 6 | 6" Cable tie | 2 |
| 7 | Double-sided tape | 24" x 1/2" |
| 8 | Duct tape | 18" x 2" |
Tools - hot glue gun, utility knife, scissor
Construction Steps
1. Remove the lens from the reading glasses and glue them together by applying hot glue at the edges of the lens. Using two lens can shorten the overall focal length, and subsequently the length of the shade.
2. Cut the bottom of the bottle with a utility knife and put the lens in. Secure it with hot glue.

3. Cut black paper card to size and double-side tape it inside the bottle. Duct tape the bottle outside so that its colour matches that of the camera.
4. Stick the velcro to the tripod and the bottle. Then align the bottle to the LCD screen.
5. Reinforce the bottle with 2 piece of cable ties.
6 Completed.
It can be flipped down when shading is not required.
